I like this place mt kids love going there
The staff wasn't helpful. I asked if they had "the three little pigs by Mei Matsuoka. The staff said " they did not have that book. So then I asked if they had any "the three little pigs book." The staff then took me to an area and said " you can find the book over in this section. The section had over 500 books. Usually when I go to a library the staff will take you right to the book. So I left the library without the three little pigs book. I thought the computer system helped the staff pin point where the book is. Please correct me if I'am wrong.
Very up-to-date with video games for the children, a play area for small children, and plenty of computers to use (a room full, plus a long row of them)! Very kind and helpful staff! This is a brand new facility, built in 2015! It's very nice!
As the library just reopened this week at a new location, past reviews could be misleading (either way). This library is difficult to review because it really depends on your purpose in going. If you are looking for a kids area where they can play a bit, it has that. If you want to work quietly at a computer, there are almost 50. Lots of nice quiet spaces for doing homework or curling up with a good book. But... there aren't a whole lot of books. It seems that 2/3 (or more) of the books have been abandoned for making space for computers and tables. Even the video collection seems lacking. There "sizzler" videos were mostly 20 year old (or more) Disney movies. But add a Starbucks in there and the quiet spaces would be complete.
Very pleasant environment and helpful staff.
